I have a 1997 international 9200 I had to change even on the exam came off Freightliner that had Jake brakes and mine don't I have Detroit software only don't know how to use it to disable Jake brakes and up hp

You'll need ddec reprogramming system software for your Jake brakes and Detroit Cal tool to up ponies

drs might do information technology but i know with ddct will be able to. diagnostic link doesn't change that many parameters, unremarkably the of import ones y'all can't lol

i like to just use ddct myself. install meta files with ddct and make sure you lot select datalink and hit upload calibration if you right click on calibration workspace on left hand side
send me pm if you ship me file or teamviewer better yet ill testify you how to. but upload it and play with it a little you'll discover information technology easy enough

I'thou not very good at explaining but hook to ecm with reprogramming system and you click on update customer scale then you lot'll go to input/outputs and switch your jakes off...at present on the horsepower bargain are you just trying to go this ecm to match the power of your onetime one?

The Cal tool takes some playing with to go use to but like sdtruck said become some meta files and you can play with your current Cal or if you dig around here there'southward probably some higher powered ddec 3 cals on hither...I'd take him upwards on his offer to help tho if you've never used the Cal tool.
